Michael Pitt, was the face of Prada for
Spring, the Italian brand has picked a quartet of leading men to usher in the
Fall season.
Hollywood’s leading actors
like Adrien Brody, Jamie Bell, Garrett Hedlund, Willem
Dafoe, and Gary Oldman walked the runway in Miuccia Prada‘s menswear show back
in January, and now the new line up for Prada fall menswear 2011 ad campaign
photographed by David Sims.
the quartet has been shot in a "contemporary character study",
according to the brand. From the press release, the ad campaign “represent a
cross-generational broadening of the face of Prada Menswear”, which explains
the mix of relative newcomers like Hedlund with veterans like Oldman.

"In the campaign each
leading man plays a different archetype, layering codes of dress in a subtle
parody of power and role-play,” the brand explains. “Their contemporary
character study of manners and meaning reveals a new set of rules for the modern
gentleman’s attitude to dressing.”
