Cotton On opened in SM Mall of Asia,
thousands of people invaded to the stores to welcome the Australian casual
label.
With over 950 stores worldwide, Cotton
On was brought to the Philippines by Suyen Corp., the company behind Bench, in
time for the Filipino-owned brand's 25th anniversary.
The Bench Group celebrates the opening
of another brand, Cotton On, hailing all the way from Australia, under its
umbrella. A retail powerhouse like Bench itself, Cotton On is renowned for its
winning combination of globally relevant fashion at affordable prices.
To mark the opening of its first store,
Cotton On Philippines held a fashion show showcasing its range of products,
from men's and women's wear to trendy fashion accessories..
Cotton On branches at the SM Megamall
and Bonifacio High Street are set to open this month.
Cotton On finds its roots in Geelong,
Australia, where it first opened in 1991.
It now has stores in New Zealand, China,
Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa, Germany, the United
Arab Emirates, the United States, and now, the Philippines.
Cotton On isn't the first international
clothing line to make its local debut courtesy of Bench.
Over the years, Suyen has brought
several foreign brands to the country such as La Senza, Aldo, Charles and Keith
and The Face Shop.
